Children’s Hospital of Birmingham

Children’s Hospital of Alabama ranks 10th on the United States’ list of busiest pediatric medical centers. Located in Birmingham, Children’s is one of only 45 free standing acute care hospitals of its kind in the nation, and is the only hospital in Alabama dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children.

The hospital will utilizes Method-1’s  WallArmor™. The revolutionary product is used to surround 266 rooms and 133 nurses’s stations. There are two rooms for each nurses’s station and each set of rooms will have a different WallArmor theme such as animals, plants, fine arts, space, transportation and sports. A canopy above each nurses’s station will ties each of the room designs together. The themes and colors are an intregal part of the way-finding system in the hospital.
