Russell Lands Sales Center

The Discovery Center at Russell Lands on Lake Martin serves as a centralized sales center for all of the Russell Lands resort communities. The center is crafted after the local vernacular of lakeside cabins and cottage style architecture. Method-1 was asked to create an environment inside the sales center to help tell the story of the Russell Family as well as the development of the area over the last 100 years. The program consisted of an interactive “Smart Table” for use by sales agents as well as a History Museum located in the rear of the facility. The center piece of the museum is the “Shed Porch” which serves as framework to display historic images of the area while surrounded by display cases for local artifacts found around the lake.
