The Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau’s new center features a contemporary design that aims to deliver an engaging experience that encourages visitors to stay in the space and interact with all it has to offer. The Visitors Center is the hub of information about the Magic City attractions, things to do and information, so providing ample opportunity to educate, inform and engage visitors was the priority of this project. Video walls, striking imagery and the winding serpentine counters containing brochures and literature all work together to make this center stand out as an attraction of its own. There are informational kiosks in different languages so visitors are able to create specialized intermediaries while in the city and merchandising areas to get branded Birmingham swag.
